Lincoln LS "Waterfall"

Directed by Spanish director Fernando Trueba (Belle Epoque) and starring Salma Hayek, this spot is a great blend of special effects and editorial. The effects were done in Miami by Upstairsefx, LLC.

The main inspiration for my editorial approach was a scene from the french film “Brotherhood of the Wolf” where they mapped Monica Bellucci’s body to a snowy landscape. This gave me the idea of blending the shots of Salma sleeping with those of the traveling car. In a sense, using Salma’s curves as the main landscape element.

Westward, Ho!

It’s been a long time, I know. After much deliberation my family and I decided it was time to move to California. So we did. We are now living in the heart of downtown Burbank. It’s quite a change of pace, but so far it’s been everything we wanted and more.
